Who Am I? Me About Me....

This was a huge shoot, loads of photographs I didn't like.... If you had not realised, as yet, I hate having my photograph taken and to have to do a shoot of myself by myself was not something I wanted to do, but was a necessary evil...

I did my shoot in my office and darkroom using my Nikon D800 camera on a tripod and a ring flash on the camera. Getting the focus, lighting, focal length and shutter speed right was a case of trial and error for me.

As the shoot continued I got quite bored and my attention went in other directions... My tattoos were recorded, one of my cats was photographed with me and I started making silly faces to break up the seriousness of the shoot... As far as I am concerned just about all of the images of myself are not good, even those few I retouched...

I will do anything to keep my face out of a photograph, if I can hide behind something or someone I will.

I never thought I would ever get to do a degree course in my life, but my daughter is now doing her PhD in Neuro Science and it was her belief in me (also my College Tutors) that I enrolled onto this degree course. Being honest with myself, at times I have had serious doubts about my ability to do this course, but it seems to be going OK at the moment. I'm waiting for the marking results from the first two modules handed in so far. Two are ongoing until the end of year and I have just started another two modules... More on them as I'm going through them...
